About The Big One: Cake Smash & First Birthdays
A cake smash is pure chaos, but that is the best part. I handle all the setup—balloons, drapes, and even the cake—so you do not have to worry about the mess or the logistics. Whether your little one is shy or ready to dive right into the frosting, we keep the session flexible, prioritising their comfort until we get those authentic, giggly shots.
I believe a first birthday session should be about your child, not just a strict schedule. That is why I offer a sequence that flows naturally: we start with formal portraits to get them settled, move to the messy cake smash, and finish with a warm bubble bath to get them clean and happy.
Everything happens in my Powai studio, or if you prefer the outdoors, I am happy to scout a garden location that suits your vibe. I provide the outfits from my studio wardrobe and coordinate the props based on themes like boho, jungle, or classic minimalism. You just need to bring your baby and their favorite snacks.
Because I prioritize natural light and authentic reactions, we do not force poses. If your baby is moody or needs a break, we take it. My goal is to capture the curious looks and little details that make this specific age so special, leaving you with images that feel like a true reflection of your family's first year.
