Sahi Tarika: Perfecting Your Exercise Form
Fitness isn't just about moving weight; it is about moving it the right way. As a national powerlifting champion, I prioritize technique to help you build strength without injury.
Hello doston, here I explain the 'sahi tarika' for a barbell curl. Many people make the mistake of using their back, but I teach you how to isolate the bicep for proper contraction and real results.
The sled push is an incredible tool for building full-body power and conditioning. I'll teach you how to use it for instant weight loss and to develop explosive strength in your legs and core.
Functional workouts like tire hammering are inspired by natural, real-world movements. This exercise builds explosive power across your arms, back, and core, all while improving your metabolism.
The Flip 180 is a complete workout combining power and speed. I'll show you how this plyometric functional training exercise can build incredible strength and endurance.
The battle rope is a highly effective and impressive workout. I explain how it engages your core for stability and how different variations like waves and snakes can provide a high-calorie-burning workout.
The ViPR is a fun and entertaining piece of equipment for functional exercise. I demonstrate how movements like the twister and side swing engage your entire body and improve neuro-muscular coordination.
Kettlebell exercises like the clean and press are a core part of our functional training. They require a strong mind-muscle connection and engage your entire body, making you fitter and stronger with every rep.
The log bar is a classic CrossFit and strongman exercise that demands both strength and body control. I'll guide you on how to master this impressive lift safely.
The vertical pulley is a fun exercise that builds serious functional strength. It mimics natural pulling motions, working your upper body, back, and abs all at once.
Patience and proper guidance are key to progress. Here, I am spotting a client during a heavy squat, ensuring his form is safe and effective as he works towards becoming the best version of himself.
About Sahi Tarika: My Coaching Philosophy
Many people swing weights or use their back to force out a rep, thinking they are getting stronger when they are actually just courting an injury. In my sessions, we focus on full range of motion. Whether it is a barbell curl or a squat, you will learn to isolate the target muscle properly. If you are not feeling the contraction in the right place, we reset and fix your form—no shortcuts.
Technique Over Ego
Technique is the difference between an athlete and someone who just works out. When I train clients at XLR8, my first goal is to unlearn the bad habits built from years of gym culture where ego-lifting takes priority over mechanics.
Why Form Correction is Non-Negotiable
Most injuries happen when people use momentum to move heavy weight instead of engaging the correct muscle groups. Whether we are training the Big 3—Squat, Bench, and Deadlift—or doing functional movements like sled pushes and tire flips, I monitor every single rep. You will hear me say "Hold kar" or "Pure range of motion" because that is where the real gains are hidden.
My Approach to Coaching
I do not believe in generic, cookie-cutter plans. Your body has unique mechanics. I analyze your movement patterns, identify where you are leaking power, and provide immediate tactile or verbal feedback. We use specific cues to ensure your spine is neutral during deadlifts and that your chest stays up during squats.
Build a Body That Lasts
Building muscle and losing fat are byproducts of efficient, safe training. When you follow the sahi tarika, you do not just lift heavier; you gain confidence and build a body that lasts. Stop guessing and start training with intention.
Common Questions:
- Do you work with beginners? Yes, we focus on mobility and form fundamentals before adding heavy weight.
- Why does my back hurt during lifts? Usually, it is because you are using your lower back instead of your glutes or hamstrings. We will identify and correct that immediately.
