About this collection
Many people ask me if PVC molding is better than traditional plaster. Truth is, it depends on your wall. For most homes in Noida Extension, I recommend HDPS or PVC molding because it gives you sharper, cleaner lines that don't chip easily, and it's much more moisture-resistant. It saves you from the hairline cracks that often appear in plaster work after a few months.
Don't leave your walls blank. A plain coat of paint is a missed opportunity to add character. I work with different techniques to turn a boring bedroom or living room wall into a focal point without needing an interior designer's budget.
My Approach to Wall Design
- Classic French Molding: This is my go-to for an elegant, timeless look. Using impact-resistant HDPS or PVC trims, we can create custom box-in-box layouts that make your room look larger and more expensive. It’s perfect for behind your sofa or headboard.
- Fluted & 3D Panels: If you want a modern, high-end vibe, fluted WPC or charcoal panels are the way to go. These add depth and texture. I often use them to frame a TV unit or create a vertical accent on one side of a bed.
- Texture & Special Finishes: Sometimes you don't need molding. A hand-applied textured paint or a stone-finish sheet can act like a piece of art on your wall. I personally handle the leveling and base prep to ensure the finish looks smooth, not messy.
Why the Process Matters
The most beautiful design will look bad if the execution is wrong. I spend a lot of time on the basics—ensuring the wall is level and using the right adhesives. If you are doing an accent wall, remember that lighting is part of the design. I don't just put up panels; I plan where the profile lights or sconces will sit so the shadows and highlights do the work for you. Whether you have a tight budget or want to go all out, let's look at your room dimensions and see what works best.
