Introducing CuddleBugs, our special program for little explorers aged 10 to 18 months. Here, parents and children engage in sensory play with natural materials, fostering early learning and bonding.
The ball pit is always a favorite in our CuddleBugs program. It provides a fun and stimulating sensory experience, helping our littlest learners develop motor skills and spatial awareness as they play.
A toddler in our CuddleBugs program is deeply focused on a sensory play activity. Using simple tools like spoons and bowls with safe materials like sand or flour helps develop fine motor skills and concentration.
Our CuddleBugs program begins with a circle time for moms and their little ones. This shared experience of songs and gentle movements helps build a sense of community and sets a warm, welcoming tone for the session.
A mother and teacher guide a child's exploration of natural materials in our CuddleBugs program. This collaborative approach ensures that even our youngest children feel supported and confident as they learn through play.
Two toddlers explore a sand tray together during a CuddleBugs session. This early social interaction, guided by a caregiver, is a gentle introduction to parallel play and sharing space with others.
About CuddleBugs: For Our Littlest Learners (10-18 months)
These 75-minute weekly sessions are designed to ease the first steps of separation while fostering a deep bond between you and your child. We use open-ended sensory materials like kinetic sand and mud kitchens, allowing your little one to experiment without the pressure to produce a perfect result. It's a low-stress environment where you get to observe their first moments of social curiosity alongside other parents.
The CuddleBugs term runs for 12 weeks, providing a consistent routine that helps toddlers feel secure. We keep our batch sizes small, capped at 8-12 parent-child pairs, so our senior early-years specialists can provide guidance to every family.
Why sensory play for 10-18 months?
At this age, learning is entirely tactile. Our Reggio Emilia-inspired approach means we don't force structured tasks. If a child wants to explore the texture of foam or stack wooden blocks for the entire hour, that is their lesson. We provide the environment, the messy tools, and the safe space, while you provide the security they need to venture out.
What to expect in a session:
- Circle Time: We start with live music and movement to help the little ones settle in.
- Sensory Stations: Rotating activities involving water beads, rice, and organic mud kitchen supplies.
- Art & Texture: Non-toxic painting and tactile craft materials are always available for little hands to explore.
- Community: Our space is air-purified and fully equipped with wash facilities, so you don't have to worry about the cleanup.
This is a space to connect with other parents in Chanakyapuri and share the journey of your child’s development in a place that feels like home.
