Lakeside Charm in Udaipur: Javni & Deepesh's Wedding
A beautiful blend of vibrant Garba energy and soft poolside elegance at Ramada, Udaipur. We kept the vibe personal with quirky signs, pastel Haldi tones, and thoughtful, interactive details.
The welcome dinner for Javni and Deepesh was a magical affair. We created a 'Better Together' neon sign with a macrame backdrop and a stunning floral arch to greet guests.
The poolside welcome dinner was adorned with beautiful rose arrangements and the soft glow of hanging bulbs, with their reflections shimmering on the water.
We incorporated local culture into the welcome dinner with traditional Rajasthani dancers, alongside personalized decor elements that told the couple's story.
A personalized hashtag, #PATELNILADKI, was created in large, illuminated letters by the pool, providing a perfect photo opportunity and a unique touch to the celebration.
A quick tour of the poolside Haldi setup. We used a pastel pink framework, quirky signages, and colorful flower petals to create a fun and whimsical atmosphere.
A riot of colors at the Ramada Udaipur. The poolside Haldi was designed with a lively and quirky vibe, using a pastel theme with vibrant pops of color from props and florals.
The Haldi was filled with fun and games. We included interactive elements like a giant snakes and ladders board and colorful seating areas with thread-work backdrops.
The Haldi event was designed for fun. We set up a quirky photo wall with funny Hindi signs and had the couple make a grand dance entrance to kick off the festivities.
More interactive games at the Haldi, including a giant Jenga and cup-stacking challenges, ensured guests of all ages were entertained.
Details from the pre-wedding rituals. We ensure that even the smallest traditional elements, like the pooja thali, are presented beautifully.
About Lakeside Charm in Udaipur: The Wedding of Javni & Deepesh
People usually worry about finding the perfect venue, but the real challenge is making a large resort like the Ramada feel intimate. For Javni and Deepesh, we avoided standard, heavy floral setups. Instead, we used a pastel framework by the pool and created distinct zones for their Garba and welcome dinner, ensuring the flow felt natural and fun rather than stiff or overly formal.
When planning a destination wedding in Udaipur, it is easy to get caught up in the grandeur of the heritage properties. However, a venue like the Ramada requires a planner who understands how to balance its scale with personal warmth. For this specific wedding, we avoided the usual wedding cliches. Instead, we focused on what I call 'smart luxury.'
For the Haldi, we utilized the poolside space with a pastel framework, skipping the heavy drapes that often block the natural view. We added quirky Hindi signage—things that actually mean something to the family—and interactive games like a giant snakes and ladders board. This keeps guests engaged and laughing, which is far more valuable than expensive, static decor.
The Garba night was designed to be high-energy. We used a vibrant fabric tunnel at the entrance to signal a shift in mood from the earlier ceremonies. The stage backdrop used geometric prints rather than traditional heavy gold, allowing the couple's outfits and the dancers to stand out.
If you are looking at Udaipur for your wedding, ask yourself: does your planner actually know the hotel layout? We know where the sun hits the pool, which lawns have the best breeze, and how to manage the guest logistics so you aren't the one dealing with hotel reception staff. That is the 'smart' part of our planning. We handle the stress, you just show up.
