Creative and Artistic Pre-Wedding Portraits
I move beyond standard poses to capture your chemistry through dramatic silhouettes, unique framing, and creative lighting effects.
A powerful and artistic silhouette. This high-contrast, black and white style focuses on the form and connection of the couple, creating a dramatic and modern portrait.
I love using creative framing to tell a story. Here, I've shot through the couple to focus on the Taj hotel, creating a unique perspective that is both artistic and meaningful.
A creative collage of silhouette shots focusing on the hands and rings. These detail shots are a beautiful and symbolic way to tell the story of your commitment.
A beautiful bridal portrait using dramatic lighting. The way the light falls on her creates a soft yet striking image that highlights her features and elegant attire.
A duplicate of image 62, this artistic shot uses the couple to frame the iconic landmark, resulting in a creative and memorable pre-wedding photo.
A duplicate of image 62, this technique of shooting through a foreground element adds depth and a sense of intimacy to the portrait.
A beautifully lit bridal portrait. The single light source creates a dramatic, almost painterly effect, making her look radiant and serene.
A creative portrait using a reflection. The bride-to-be looks up towards the light, while her reflection is captured in the foreground, adding depth and artistry to the shot.
A joyful and radiant close-up. The warm lighting and her happy expression make this a stunning bridal portrait that is full of life.
A soft and beautiful portrait with her eyes closed in a moment of happiness. The warm, colored lighting adds to the romantic and dreamy mood.
About Creative & Artistic Portraits
Instead of standard standing poses, I often work with silhouettes or reflection-based shots to capture the mood between you two. It takes a bit more direction, but the final images have a cinematic feel that stands out from typical album photos.
Photography is about more than just standing in front of a camera. When I shoot for creative and artistic portraits, I focus on the elements that give a photo depth—light, shadow, and perspective.
My process involves actively looking for ways to frame you differently. This might mean shooting through a reflective surface, using the architecture of a location like the Gateway of India to create a frame within a frame, or using smoke and colored lights to change the mood entirely.
I offer three main ways to get these results:
- Essential Outdoor Stills: Perfect if you want a mix of natural shots and a few creative techniques like silhouettes. We can do this in public spots across Mumbai.
- Cinematic Series: If you want a full story, this package includes gear like gimbals and light wands, allowing us to capture movement and cinematic lighting that looks like it is straight out of a film.
- Studio Concepts: This is where we have full control. In a studio, we can manipulate strobes and softboxes to get that high-fashion, dramatic contrast that is hard to achieve with natural light alone.
Whether it is the dramatic red backlight on a bridal portrait or a minimalist silhouette of your hands joined together, my goal is to give you photos that are artistic and authentic. If you have a specific vision or want to experiment with a style you have seen, let me know before the shoot.
