A Glimpse Behind the Lens: My Creative Process
See how I direct couples and set up shots on location. This is a real look at the movement, equipment, and energy that goes into creating your pre-wedding story.
A quick behind-the-scenes look at a beach shoot. You can see me directing the couple and setting up the shot to capture that perfect romantic moment at sunset.
This video gives you a peek into my process. It shows the on-location setup for a picnic theme and how I work to get those beautiful, natural shots.
About A Glimpse Behind the Lens
People often worry about being stiff or awkward in front of a camera. When we shoot on location—whether it's a crowded beach in Mumbai or a quiet park—my primary job isn't just to click a button, but to get you comfortable. I guide you through natural movements, help you forget the lens is there, and find lighting that works for your specific vibe, ensuring you look like yourselves rather than posed models.
How We Get That Perfect Shot
Photography is more than gear. It is about timing and creating an environment where you can actually relax. When you see those cinematic shots in my gallery, you are seeing the result of a process I have refined since 2001.
Directing, Not Just Posing Most couples I work with aren't professional models. That is fine. I don't ask you to stand still and smile. Instead, I give you actions: a walk along the shoreline, a conversation, or a shared look. These movements allow me to capture genuine emotion. If we are doing a themed shoot, like an Agri-Koli concept or a studio session, we plan the outfit and props in advance so the day feels like an experience rather than a performance.
Technical Realities of Outdoor Shoots Whether we are shooting in the heat of a Mumbai afternoon or the low light of a sunset, lighting is everything. I carry gear—light wands, portable strobes, and yes, the occasional smoke bomb—not to clutter the frame, but to add depth. My light assistant is always there to manage the shadows, so even in complex public locations like the National Park or busy streets, we isolate you from the background distractions.
My Approach to Delivery I believe in fast delivery without compromising on the edit. Once the shoot ends, the process moves to post-production, where I work on color correction and skin retouching to ensure your gallery is ready. Whether we are doing a quick outdoor stills session or a full-day cinematic shoot, the goal remains the same: capturing the real you, in your element.
