About Urban Love Stories: Mumbai
Navigating iconic locations like the Gateway of India requires more than just a camera—it requires timing. We usually schedule these shoots for early morning to avoid crowds and catch the best soft light against the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. You don't need to be a professional model; my job is to guide your poses so we get those candid, genuine shots before the city gets too busy.
When you choose an urban shoot, you are trading quiet nature for the vibrant pulse of Mumbai. But shooting in places like Colaba or near the Gateway of India comes with its own set of challenges—mostly people and traffic. I have been shooting in these spots since 2001, so I know exactly when to arrive and where to stand to get that clean shot without a dozen tourists in the background.
We usually start around 6:00 AM. The morning light is soft, the crowds are thin, and the city feels like it belongs to you. For our urban sessions, we move beyond static posing. I use gimbals to get those smooth, cinematic walking shots that make you look like you are in a film.
