About Donation & Sponsorship Programs
Why We Exist
I run a forever home for over 1,800 stray dogs. Most of them are here because nobody else wanted them. We care for paralyzed dogs, blind ones, those who’ve been through things you don’t even want to imagine. Every single day, saying ‘yes’ to these dogs means finding ways to feed them, pay their medical bills, and make sure they never feel unwanted again.
How You Can Help
- Sponsor a stray dog or a daily meal - that’s the most direct way to help. We cook three tons of food daily, with chicken, rice, curd, and more, just to keep everyone fed. A lot of people sponsor a meal to celebrate birthdays or remember someone close. It honestly means the world to us.
- Monthly dog care sponsorship lets you be a guardian for one dog who can’t ever be rehomed. Some have old injuries, some are just too traumatized. When you choose to sponsor, I’ll send you a virtual sponsorship kit - a photo, a video, and a certificate.
- If you can, ask your company about donation matching. It doubles the help. We also have people supporting from outside India - borders don’t matter when it comes to kindness.
The Reality
We don’t get any government money. It’s just us and anyone who chooses to help. Sometimes a storm wipes out our shelters or a sudden medical emergency comes up - your support keeps us going, no matter what.

My Story
We are VOSD, not just a shelter—home for dogs nobody else wants. Olivia, born blind, Lizzie, acid attack survivor, Andy, brain injury—these are our family. Each one’s been through hell, but here, they get love and dignity. Adoption isn’t our goal, because most of our 1800+ dogs have nowhere else to go. We started VOSD so every dog gets respect, not pity. Here, they’re not burdens. They’re home. Simple.
My Work
What We Do - We run a no-kill dog sanctuary, offer medical rehab, lifelong dog care, and fight for animal welfare rights.
Forever Home for Unadoptable Dogs - Old, sick, or trauma survivor dogs live in peace here—no more shifting, just lifelong care.
VOSD Daily—News & Advice - We share animal welfare stories, cruelty cases, and vet tips—knowledge for change.
Sponsor a Meal - Feed our 1800+ dogs, celebrate a moment, or honor someone. Your support means another dog gets saved.
