About Canine Welfare Education & Advocacy
What We Really Do
I won’t sugarcoat things - dog welfare in India is messy, complicated, and sometimes heartbreaking. My work is about showing what’s actually happening on the ground, not just posting cute dog pics. If you’re a dog parent, a street feeder, or someone who just cares, I’ll help you get the facts and the tools so you can make an impact.
Updates That Actually Matter
You get the real news - legal twists like whether a housing society can block your dog, new sterilization drives, and what’s changing in pet laws. I break down the confusing stuff on street dogs, especially in places like Kerala, and highlight how illegal relocations are causing more bites. I call out attacks on community feeders and explain your rights as per the law.
Know Your Rights, Fight for Dogs
Feeding stray dogs is legal, and I’ll show you exactly how Article 51A(g) and Rule 20 back you up. I expose cruelty, whether it’s hidden in shelters or happening in plain sight. When a legal battle needs support, I’ll ask you to help with evidence or data - we’re in this together.
Practical Dog Care
Get straight-up stray dog health tips - why spay/neuter is about more than numbers, how rabies is preventable, and what early warning signs to watch for. No jargon, just what works.
Why I Say Don’t Buy While Dogs Die
Dogs aren’t disposable. From sick or old strays to abandoned pedigrees, I see it all. Adopting is how you fight back against cruelty and the breeding industry. That’s my stand.

My Story
We are VOSD, not just a shelter—home for dogs nobody else wants. Olivia, born blind, Lizzie, acid attack survivor, Andy, brain injury—these are our family. Each one’s been through hell, but here, they get love and dignity. Adoption isn’t our goal, because most of our 1800+ dogs have nowhere else to go. We started VOSD so every dog gets respect, not pity. Here, they’re not burdens. They’re home. Simple.
My Work
What We Do - We run a no-kill dog sanctuary, offer medical rehab, lifelong dog care, and fight for animal welfare rights.
Forever Home for Unadoptable Dogs - Old, sick, or trauma survivor dogs live in peace here—no more shifting, just lifelong care.
VOSD Daily—News & Advice - We share animal welfare stories, cruelty cases, and vet tips—knowledge for change.
Sponsor a Meal - Feed our 1800+ dogs, celebrate a moment, or honor someone. Your support means another dog gets saved.
