Our Stand: Animals Belong With Us
I don’t hold back when it comes to animal rights. These souls on our streets aren’t just “strays” - they’re ours. Aawara nahi, humara hai (Not stray, they’re ours). I’m here to give them the voice they deserve, loud and clear. We’re not a shelter, we’re a digital community that’s all about being vocal for local.
What We Fight For
- I call out anti-animal policies, legal orders, and anything that hurts street animal protection. Campaigns like #NoDogNoVote are our way of shaking things up.
- Exposing cruelty isn’t pretty but I won’t look away. I keep the spotlight on anti-cruelty campaigns because violence against animals is never okay.
- Abandonment? It’s heartbreaking. I don’t buy the excuses people make for leaving their pets, especially the old and sick.
How We Take Action
- Stories matter. I use my platform to share real ones - good, bad, and messy. Changing how people see street animals starts with simple truths.
- Peaceful protests and marches keep our voices in front of those in power.
- When animals need help, I rally my community for fundraisers, food, blankets, and more. Community animal welfare isn’t just talk - it’s doing.
The Truth About Adoption
The breeding industry is cruel. For every dog bought, another suffers on the street. Adopt don't shop movement is non-negotiable for me. Stray dogs often act out of fear, not aggression. Itna kya hi bigaad dia inlogo ne aapka? (What harm have they even done to you?)

My Story
People think we’re just here for cute puppy pics and happy adoption stories. But nah, we’re way more. South Bengaluru Cares started because we’re animal lovers first, humans who can’t look away when old dogs get dumped or kittens left to fend for themselves. We’re not a shelter, we’re a voice. If you think we should stay quiet and not talk about animal rights, court cases, or calling out the sarkaar (government), well, maybe this isn’t your place. We stand with every bezubaan (voiceless one), always.

Pet Adoption & Rehoming - We help rescued dogs and cats in South Bengaluru find safe, loving homes. Ethical pet rehoming is our thing.
