About Festive Mehendi
Festive mehendi is all about the energy you bring to the celebration. Whether you need minimalist motifs for a quick Diwali gathering or detailed narrative art for Navratri, I prioritize using organic Sojat henna to ensure a deep, natural stain that lasts through all your garba steps.
Navratri is my favourite time of year. Aee haloo! My festive designs are all about motion and life. I love incorporating figures of garba dancers, dandiya sticks, or even Maa Durga into your palms to match the vibe of the pandal. For festivals like Karwa Chauth and Diwali, the approach shifts to something more personal and symbolic. Think diya motifs, moon-viewing scenes, and intricate lotus borders that tell your story.
I treat these designs as mini-stories that match the specific energy of your event. People often ask about the stain, and I am very particular about it. I strictly avoid chemical-laden cones that give a fake black or instant orange colour. I use 100% natural henna mixed with essential oils like Eucalyptus or Nilgiri. It takes patience to develop, but that rich maroon shade is absolutely worth the wait.
I travel across Mumbai for these sessions, so whether you are hosting at home or gathering with friends at a venue, I bring the studio to you. For festive bookings, I always recommend reaching out at least a few days in advance, especially during peak dates like Karwa Chauth, as I prefer to give every single hand the time it needs to look perfect. If you have a specific festival icon in mind or a trend you saw online, let me know. I am always happy to tweak designs to fit your outfit or theme.
