About MahaShivratri & Shiva Pujas
When we design for MahaShivratri, the hardest part is getting the scale of the Shivling right without making it look like a generic prop. We hand-fabricate every base in our own workshop and place every white flower by hand, because if the density is off, the whole divine aura feels fake. It is messy work, but getting that texture exactly right is how we capture that real, meditative vibe.
People often think spiritual decor is just about buying standard idols and putting them on a stage. For us, it is about 'Thinking out of the box' to capture the specific aura of Bholenath. Whether it is a small home puja or a large banquet hall satsang, we start with the foundation. We build our own Trishuls and Shivling structures in-house. We do not use rental items that look plastic or mass-produced.
For MahaShivratri, we lean into the white and calm aesthetic. We use white carnations and lilies to create the Shivling texture, contrasting it with deep red fabrics or roses to represent the Shakti aspect. Lighting is crucial here. We do not rely on harsh halogen spots. We use hundreds of wax diyas and strategically placed brass Urlis to get that warm, flickering glow that makes the space feel like a temple, not a function hall.
