Our Approach to Reception Design

We don't just rent props; we build the space from the ground up. Over the past 30 years in Delhi, we have learned that a successful reception isn't about covering a room in fabric—it is about creating an environment that feels solid and intentional.

Why Fabrication Matters

Most decor packages rely on ready-made backdrops. We do it differently. Whether it is a 24ft Mughal-style wall with internally lit niches or a custom bar with a specific lotus-print facade, we fabricate these pieces in our workshop. This allows us to control every detail, from the height of the archway to the finish of the gold paint.

Essential Reception Elements

• The Stage Backdrop: This is where the eyes go first. We use ivory drapes as a soft base, then frame them with custom scalloped archways or 3D panels to add dimension.
• Custom Bars: A bar should be a social anchor, not just a service counter. We fabricate bars with ribbed or patterned facades that look like part of the venue architecture, rather than an afterthought.
• Lighting Layers: White decor acts like a blank canvas. We use warm amber LEDs to wash the walls and pin-spots on floral arrangements to make the gold accents pop. Without this, white decor looks washed out in photos.
• Floral Integration: We mix fresh, fragrant blooms with high-quality artificial pieces. This gives us the density needed for grand installations—like cascading peacock tails or dense floral borders—without the risk of wilting during a long night.

Whether we are working at a venue like The Primulas or a private farmhouse, our goal is to build a setup that feels like it belongs in the space, rather than something that was just dropped in for the evening.
