Modern Living Room Design in Bengaluru
We design living areas to be the heart of the home, prioritizing double-height volumes, expansive glass facades, and natural light to create spaces that feel calm, comfortable, and deeply connected to the outdoors.
Another view of the 'House of Courtyards' living room, where soaring ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows create a breathtaking sense of volume. The space is designed to feel both grand and intimately connected to the central green courtyard.
The double-height living space of the 'Trapezoidal House' is defined by a soaring oak veneer ceiling and a dramatic geometric chandelier. The design uses a clean white sofa and sculptural brown armchairs to create a sophisticated yet comfortable gathering area.
This upper-level living area overlooks a courtyard through expansive glass facades. The composition of black steel frames, warm white walls, and a sloped wood ceiling creates a harmonious dialogue between structural precision and residential comfort.
This contemporary living room is designed for both grandeur and tranquility. A double-height space is anchored by a sculptural paper lantern chandelier, while a large orange sofa adds a warm, inviting touch to the minimalist interior.
The family living space in the 'Trapezoidal House' uses a refined monochrome palette and an oak veneer ceiling to evoke sophistication. The open-plan layout fosters fluid connectivity between different zones, centered around a sculptural coffee table.

This modern living space is defined by its clean lines and functional elegance. A comfortable brown leather sofa is set against a wall of modular black shelving, creating a perfect nook for reading and relaxation, illuminated by soft, natural light.
About this collection
We often utilize north-facing, floor-to-ceiling glazing to draw soft, consistent natural light into the living room without the harsh thermal gain typical of Bengaluru's sunnier exposures. This choice allows us to maintain a bright, airy atmosphere throughout the day while keeping the interior temperature balanced and comfortable.
Our Approach to Living Space Architecture
In our view, the living room serves as the central anchor of a residence. We move away from boxy, compartmentalized layouts in favor of open, fluid volumes that encourage movement and interaction. By integrating double-height ceilings and structural clarity, we create a sense of grandeur that remains rooted in residential comfort.
Materiality and Light
We select materials for their tactile quality and ability to age gracefully. You will often see us pairing raw concrete with the warmth of oak veneer ceilings or the cold precision of black steel frames. This contrast isn't just aesthetic; it’s a deliberate strategy to define zones without using physical walls. Lighting is treated as a foundational element, not an afterthought. Whether it is diffuse natural light from a skylight or a geometric chandelier positioned to create a focal point, we map the light to reflect the way you actually live in the space.
Integrating Nature
For us, a living room is incomplete without a connection to the environment. Our biophilic approach involves blurring the boundary between the internal and external. We often design living rooms to overlook private courtyards or include indoor planters directly within the living area. This brings fresh air and greenery into your daily routine, turning a static room into a living, changing part of your home.
Practical Design Choices
- Flow & Connectivity: We ensure the living room connects logically to other parts of the home, like the kitchen or dining area, using flooring transitions or subtle ceiling level changes to define space.
- Hidden Utility: We prioritize clean lines by concealing technical elements, such as wiring for media walls or HVAC conduits, behind custom-integrated carpentry or wall paneling.
- Structural Innovation: We frequently work with advanced engineering, such as cantilevered balconies or non-linear walls, to push the boundaries of what a modern living space can be.
