Mehndi is more than just patterns; it is a meditation. Here is a look at the patience, focus, and steady hands that go into creating the stories you wear.

This is me, Vivek, with a happy client. For me, mehndi is not just a job, it is an emotion. Every design I create is a story, and I am grateful to be the one to draw it for you.

At work, creating a beautiful design for an international client at an event. I am available for destination weddings and events across India and abroad.

A stunningly dense and intricate design with a diamond 'jaal' pattern covering the entire hand. This requires immense patience and precision.

About The Art in Action

Most people see the final dark stain, but the magic happens in the hours before. When I am working, I focus entirely on the steady flow of the cone to ensure the lines are crisp and the portraits look real. This isn't a quick job; it is a deliberate, calm process where I make sure every detail, from the portrait to the finest jaali work, is just right.

When you book me for your bridal mehndi, you are signing up for a session that can last anywhere from 6 to 9 hours. I believe that good art cannot be rushed. Whether I am creating a custom portrait of your partner, detailing a specific scene from your love story, or building dense, zero-gap traditional patterns, I need space and focus to get it right.

I use 100% organic, triple-sifted Sojat henna mixed with essential oils. I do not use chemicals to speed up the process, and I do not take shortcuts with the design density. The result is a deep, rich maroon stain that you will see developing over 48 hours.

My process is about collaboration. We discuss your story, your preferences, and your bridal look beforehand. If you have a specific vision—maybe a skyline of the city where you met or a representation of your proposal—I sketch it out until it feels like 'you'. My work is a form of ibadat, and I carry that responsibility with me every time I pick up the cone.
