Mehndi is as much about patience as it is about art. Here is a look at the process behind the designs, where focus and steady hands matter most.

This video shows me and my team at a mehndi exhibition. We are always busy, creating beautiful designs for everyone. It's a lot of hard work, but we love it.

My work takes me all over the world. This was from a destination wedding in Turkey, where I had the pleasure of doing the bridal mehndi. I am available for bookings worldwide.

A candid moment from a mehndi ceremony. You can see me talking with the bride, ensuring she is comfortable and happy with the design we are creating together.

This is how I work, using a reference picture on the phone to create a perfect portrait. I can replicate any design or picture you want with precision.

A happy bride getting her mehndi done. My goal is to make the experience enjoyable and relaxing for the bride, even if it takes many hours.

A glimpse of the focus and steady hand required for this art. I use a comfortable setup with pillows to ensure the bride can relax during the long hours of application.

My team and I at work. While I personally focus on the bride, my skilled team takes care of the guests, ensuring everyone gets a beautiful design.

Another shot of me working on a bride. You can see the concentration it takes to draw such fine lines and detailed figures.

As I explain in this video, this work is not easy. It takes a toll on my back and eyes, but the final result and the bride's happiness make it all worth it.

People often ask what I do. This video is my answer. This is my work, my art, my passion. I am proud of the skill I have built over 25 years.

About The Artist at Work

When you sit for bridal mehndi, you are with me for hours. I make sure my workstation is set up with proper support for you, because 6 to 8 hours of application can be tiring. I prefer to work slow and steady, focusing on the finer details of your portrait or bridal motifs rather than rushing the job.

Behind the Design

Applying bridal mehndi is real work. My back and eyes have endured years of late-night sessions to perfect this skill, and I treat every wedding as if it were my own. When I am working on your hands, I am not just drawing lines; I am paying attention to the symmetry, the flow of the design, and the clarity of the portraits.

The Process

For bridal work, I personally handle the palms and the intricate storytelling elements. I use a reference image of your choice—whether it is a portrait of you and your partner, a religious figure like Radha-Krishna, or a specific wedding ritual—and sketch it with henna. My team works alongside me, ensuring that while I focus on the bride, the guests at your home or venue in Delhi also receive high-quality designs.

Comfort and Care

I don't just care about the design; I care about the experience. I arrive with my own setup, including cushions for your comfort during the long application process. I use only 100% natural organic henna, which takes time to stain but offers a deep, dark color without chemicals. We prioritize this natural approach so you can be worry-free for your big day.

Locations

Whether you are based in Tagore Garden or anywhere else in the NCR region, I travel to your location. I am also available for pan-India bookings and destination weddings if you want my specific style for your ceremony.
