Pre-Procedure
- Consultation & Mapping: Visual inspection of the lesion by the Dermatosurgeon to rule out malignancy (visual dermoscopy check).
- Anesthesia: Application of topical anesthetic cream (Prilox/Lignocaine) for 30-45 minutes to ensure a pain-free experience.
The Procedure
- Technology: Use of Radio Frequency (RF) Electrocautery or CO2 Laser to ablate the tissue based on depth.
- Technique: Focus on 'feathering' the edges to ensure the skin heals flat rather than leaving a divot.
- Sterility: Performed in a dedicated minor OT with sterile drapes and disposable tips to prevent cross-infection.
- Duration: Approximately 20 to 45 minutes.
Post-Procedure Care
- Immediate Dressing: Application of broad-spectrum antibiotic ointment and a sterile spot dressing.
- Aftercare: Printed instructions on wound care and sun protection to prevent hyperpigmentation.
Split Earlobe Repair (Lobuloplasty)
Surgical Protocol
- Anesthesia: Local infiltration anesthesia (Lignocaine with Adrenaline) administered via a fine gauge needle.
- Technique: Usage of advanced surgical methods like Pardue's Flap Technique. This involves creating a tissue flap to reinforce the new earring hole against future tearing.
- Suturing: Precision multi-layer closure using fine, non-absorbable monofilament sutures (Prolene 5-0 or 6-0) to minimize suture marks.
Facility & Safety
- Environment: Procedure performed in a dedicated sterile Operation Theatre (OT).
- Consumables: Usage of sterile surgical drapes, single-use scalpel blades, and hospital-grade disposables.
Follow-up
- Post-Op Kit: Application of antibiotic ointment and a discreet pressure dressing.
- Suture Removal: Includes one follow-up visit after 7-10 days for wound check and safe removal of sutures.
Cyst & Lipoma Excision Surgery
Surgical Procedure
- Preparation: Cleaning of the area with Chlorhexidine and administration of Local Anesthesia.
- Incision: Strategic incision placed along natural skin tension lines (Langer's lines) to hide future scarring.
- Dissection: Complete removal of the lump, ensuring the entire sac (cysts) or capsule (lipomas) is extracted to prevent recurrence.
- Hemostasis: Control of minor bleeding using electrocautery.
Closure & Aesthetics
- Layered Suturing: Use of internal dissolvable sutures to close dead space, followed by fine external sutures for a thin scar line.
- Specimen Handling: Preparation of excised tissue for Histopathology biopsy (Lab fees charged extra at actuals).
Facility & Care
- OT Charges: Includes theatre charges, nursing assistance, and sterile consumables.
- Recovery: Application of a pressure bandage to prevent hematoma formation.
- Follow-up: Includes the suture removal session (typically day 7-10).
Scar & Keloid Revision Treatments
Treatment Modalities (Customized)
- Intralesional Injections: For Keloids/Hypertrophic scars. Injection of corticosteroids (Triamcinolone) or 5-FU directly into the scar tissue to flatten it.
- CO2 Fractional Laser: For Acne/Surface Scars. Application of fractional laser beams to stimulate collagen and resurface skin texture.
- Subcision: For depressed acne scars. Manual release of fibrous bands beneath the scar using a specialized Nokor needle.
Clinical Care
- Pain Management: Application of topical numbing cream (30-45 mins) prior to Laser or Subcision.
- Safety: Procedure performed by the Dermatologist with protective eyewear provided.
- Post-Care: Application of soothing gels and sunscreen immediately after the session.

I use clean, science-backed methods. All minor procedures happen in a sterile OT, with me actually doing the work. Tools like electrocautery, CO2 lasers, and regular surgical excision - I pick what fits you best. You won't find me promising zero scar, but I do my best for minimal marks.
