About Medical & Surgical Dermatology
I don't believe in fancy routines or quick fixes. Skin problems need science - not hype, not guesswork. My job as a dermatologist is to get to the root of your issue and find the real solution, not just what’s trending online.
What I treat most
- Acne, pimples, scars: Sometimes basic creams work, but for tougher cases, I use prescription meds or procedures like Fractional CO2 laser for acne scars and microneedling.
- Pigmentation, melasma, dark spots: I see a lot of people dealing with these. Q-switched Nd:YAG laser for pigmentation is great for stubborn marks. One tip - skip those harsh scrubs and loofahs. They mess up your skin more than help.
Quick fixes, done right
- Warts: I freeze them off with cryotherapy. Yes, it stings a little, but it works.
- Skin tags: Radiofrequency ablation gets rid of them fast, usually with just a numbing cream. Easy and safe.
Surgical options for vitiligo
If your white patches haven’t moved for a year, surgery like mini punch grafting for vitiligo or melanocyte transfer can help bring color back.
Diagnosis matters
No treatment starts without a proper check-up. I use dermatoscopes and patch testing for skin allergies - sometimes what looks simple isn’t. I listen, look closely, then decide. Skin is complicated. I keep it real.
