My team and I handle the technical logistics of scaffolding, surface preparation on varied textures, and coordinated team execution to ensure your mural lasts, whether it is for a school in Bangalore, a convention center, or an outdoor pool wall.
When you have a 10,000 sq. ft. ceiling or a multi-story school wall, the approach changes completely. It is not just about painting. It is about site safety, durable material selection for exterior or high-traffic areas, and managing a team of artists on scaffolding for days at a time.
My team at Artkada, including Chandrettan, Mehroof, and Rajesh, works as a synchronized unit on these big projects. We have tackled diverse environments, from restoring delicate temple sculptures in Bekal to creating robust cement relief art by a swimming pool in Madurai.
How we approach commercial projects:
- Site Assessment: We visit or review the space to understand the surface. Exterior walls need different compounds than interior ceilings, and we choose our putty and emulsion mixes accordingly to prevent peeling and fading.
- Scaffolding & Team Safety: For monumental work, we set up our own staging. We plan the work in sections so the site can often remain operational while we paint.
- Technical Artistry: Whether it is a portrait wall in an educational institution or a traditional motif in a religious space, we ensure every element is proportionate and precise when viewed from a distance.
