About Custom Canvas Paintings
I’m a self-taught artist with a soft spot for traditional Kerala mural canvas art and custom creations that bring a little bit of soul to your walls. For me, oru kalakaran-te ettavum valiya bhagyam (an artist's greatest fortune) is when art finds you - and I try to pass on that vibe in every painting.
What I Paint
- Love working on mythological and religious themes, especially Krishna (Unnikannan, Radha-Krishna, Geethopadesham), Shiva-Parvathi, full ‘Shivakudumbam’, and Ganesha for pooja rooms.
- Got a thing for Kerala culture? I do big ‘Keraleeyam’ canvases that mix up Kathakali, Theyyam, Pooram, and more. Makes any space feel super rooted.
- For modern homes, I also do textured abstract canvas painting using palette knives. These pop with bold colours and a bit of 3D feel.
- If you want something personal, I take on hand-painted religious portraits and custom family portraits on canvas from your photos - people, pets, or even iconic figures like Jesus or Buddha.
How We Work Together
- You tell me your idea and where you want the painting.
- I sketch it out first so you know what’s coming.
- I keep you looped in as I paint layer by layer, sending updates.
- Once it’s done, I varnish and help with framing or even hanging it up if you need.

My Story
Haii... enthellaa? Ellavarum sukhamalle? I’m Vipin, the guy behind Artkada. Art for me is pure luck and a blessing, not just a job. My team – Chandrettan, Mehroof, Rajesh – we paint huge walls, make murals, and sometimes join big artist groups like Exotic Dreams. Once, 25 of us made a massive Kerala map mural in Wayanad.
