This large Radha-Krishna mural, painted in the traditional Kerala style, brings a divine and peaceful energy to this beautiful pooja space. The vibrant, natural colours and intricate details are central to my work.
Here I am with a completed 'Keraleeyam' canvas, a piece that brings together the soul of Kerala. It features cultural icons like Kathakali, Theyyam, and the Thrissur Pooram, all woven into one grand narrative for a client in Bangalore.
For modern homes, I create textured abstract paintings like this one. Using a palette knife, I build layers to give the canvas a unique 3D feel that plays with light and shadow, adding a contemporary touch to any wall.
This is one of the larger custom portraits I've painted, a depiction of Jesus Christ. It shows how I can work on a grand scale to create a powerful, spiritual centerpiece for a home or institution.

From Blank Canvas to Soulful Art
For me, oru kalakaran-te ettavum valiya bhagyam (an artist's greatest fortune) is when the art finds you. I avoid the 'copy-paste' trend of wallpapers and mass-printed canvases because I believe your walls deserve something original.
My Process
Every project begins with a conversation. Whether it is a complex Shivakudumbam mural for your pooja room or a vibrant abstract piece with palette knife textures, I want to know the space it will live in.
- Conceptualization: We start with your idea and the dimensions of your wall or canvas.
- The Sketch: I create a rough sketch so you know exactly what is coming before I apply any colour.
- Layering: In mural work, this means following the traditional dhyana sloka process, working from light to dark tones to bring out the depth in the deities' expressions.
- The Finish: I use high-grade cotton canvas or treated wooden boards, finishing with archival quality varnish to ensure longevity.
