About Outdoor Maternity Adventures
An outdoor shoot with me in Bangalore is all about finding that perfect, soft golden hour light. While we do offer studio setups, choosing an outdoor location means we get to incorporate natural greenery, tree-lined paths, or open fields to give your portraits a candid, timeless feel. We usually scout locations early in the morning or just before sunset to ensure the light is gentle on your skin, making the session feel less like a formal shoot and more like a relaxed walk in nature.
Planning Your Outdoor Maternity Session
Nature offers a backdrop that studios simply cannot replicate. When we head outdoors, the goal isn't just a pretty photo, but capturing the raw, genuine emotions of this transition in your life. Whether we are in a quiet park in Kalyan Nagar or a secluded field on the outskirts of Bangalore, the environment plays a huge role in the mood of your images.
How We Work Outdoors
- Timing is Everything: I prefer shooting during the 'Golden Hour'—the first hour after sunrise or the last hour before sunset. This is when the sun provides a soft, flattering glow that makes skin tones look warm and radiant without the harsh shadows of midday.
- Comfort & Flow: Unlike indoor shoots where the environment is controlled, outdoors, we move with the wind and the light. I will guide you on posing, but I also encourage natural movement—strolling, holding hands, and interacting with your partner or children. This helps you forget about the camera and focus on the connection.
- Wardrobe: You don't need to worry about changing outfits in a public park. We usually plan for one or two looks that are easy to manage. Flowy gowns look fantastic against tall grass and trees, but comfortable, casual wear can be just as impactful for candid family shots.

Absolutely. Outdoor sessions are perfect for partners, older siblings, and even your pets. There is more room to run, play, and laugh, which leads to authentic expressions.
