We typically plan outdoor sessions during the golden hour to catch that soft, natural light, but don't worry about the logistics. Whether you want to include your partner, older kids, or even your pets, I keep the session movement-based and relaxed so you never feel forced or tired while getting that perfect shot.

If the weather is unpredictable or if you prefer a mix, I often suggest a hybrid approach. We can start in my Whitefield studio for the focused, high-contrast portraits and head to a nearby location for the open, airy shots. This gives you the best of both worlds: the artistic control of a studio and the raw, emotive feel of an outdoor session.
