About Elaborate Back of Hand Artistry
Back-of-hand designs require precise planning because they are the most visible part of your look during ceremonies and photography. We focus on creating a seamless flow from your fingertips to the wrist or elbow, balancing bold motifs like peacocks, lotus ponds, or architectural domes with fine filler patterns to ensure the design looks sharp and complete at every angle.
When we approach back-hand art, our goal is to create a design that feels like a natural extension of your jewelry and outfit. Unlike palm designs that are often viewed from a distance, back-hand art is constantly on display.
Our Approach to Detail
We use a signature style that mixes fine and bold lines. You will see us incorporate elements like jharokhas (traditional window frames), dense jaal (net) fillers, and realistic wildlife motifs like swans and elephants. If you have a specific wedding theme, we can integrate it directly into the design—whether that means hiding your partner's initials in the vines or using specific floral motifs to match your lehenga.
Practical Planning
Since we are a team of two, we can manage detailed, full-arm designs efficiently without keeping you waiting for hours. For a typical bridal-style back-hand design, we usually need about 45 to 60 minutes for both hands. We use organic henna that leaves a deep, rich stain, so you can enjoy your event without worrying about the color fading too quickly.
Customization
Every hand is different. Some brides prefer a minimalist look with negative space, while others want a full, traditional aesthetic. Let us know what you are envisioning, or share a photo of your outfit, and we will tailor the motifs to fit your personal style. Whether it is for a wedding, a festival like Gangaur, or a family function, we ensure the art reflects your story.
