About Your Love Story in Henna
Before we apply a single dot of henna, we sit with you to storyboard your wedding journey. Whether it is the exact angle of your varmala or a skyline that means something to you, we map it out on paper first so the final design on your skin feels exactly like your own story.
Artistry is not just about patterns, it is about connection. When we design your bridal mehndi, we move away from standard fillers to focus on high-impact storytelling. We use a mix of portrait-style rendering and architectural motifs—like intricate jharokhas or palace arches—to frame the moments that matter most to you.
Our process is collaborative. We start with a consultation to discuss your wedding themes, favorite memories, and specific requests. Do you want your partner’s initials hidden in a floral vine? Should we feature a specific deity like Radha Krishna? We sketch these elements to ensure the layout flows naturally from your palms up to your shoulders.
Technically, we prioritize clarity and stain quality. We use 100% organic henna powder, triple-sifted for smoothness, and apply a lemon-sugar sealant after application to help the color develop deep and rich. For these story-focused designs, we recommend planning for 6 to 8 hours of application time. This allows us to focus on the barik (fine) line work that gives realistic portraits their depth.
We are based in Mumbai but travel across India to work with couples. Because these designs are highly custom, we suggest reaching out early to secure your dates, especially for peak wedding seasons.
