About A Gallery of Our Work
We do not just start applying henna on your big day. We begin with a collaborative design process, often mapping out your specific requests on paper before the first cone touches your skin. This ensures that unique elements like family initials, specific floral motifs, or custom skyline portraits align exactly with your vision, hand size, and comfort level.
Our work is defined by the fusion of traditional Indian craftsmanship and modern storytelling. When you look through our gallery, you will see a focus on detail that goes beyond simple patterns. We specialize in creating cohesive designs that span from your fingertips to your elbows or even shoulders, ensuring every inch of space is used intentionally.
What We Focus On
- Portraiture & Storytelling: We bring specific scenes to life—whether it is a varmala ceremony, a doli procession, or a portrait of the couple. These designs require patience and precision, which is why we often work as a team to maintain consistency across both hands.
- Traditional Motifs: We value the classics. Our portfolio includes intricate jaal (lattice) work, mandalas, and nature-inspired motifs like peacocks, swans, and lotus flowers. These provide a balanced, timeless look that pairs well with traditional bridal attire.
- Customization: If you want a specific theme, such as incorporating your wedding hashtag, pet portraits, or the skyline of a city that matters to you, we treat it as an artistic challenge.
Our Process
Because we are two artists—Vinay and Jashvant—working together, we can manage high-density, complex designs within a reasonable timeframe. We handle everything from the initial design consultation to the application of a lemon-sugar sealant for long-lasting stain results. Whether you are planning a grand wedding in Mumbai or have us travel to your destination, our goal remains the same: to turn your hands into a canvas that tells your story.
Vinay's Mehendi
I am Vinay, and alongside Jashvant, I run our artist studio based in Kurla. Mehndi is not just a service for us; it is our heartbeat, and we travel across Mumbai and beyond to ensure your bridal hands look exactly as you have imagined.
