About The Vijay Club Way: Discipline & Training
We run 12-month training sessions, Monday to Saturday, without any breaks. Whether it is monsoon or summer, if you are on our ground at Shivaji Park, you are training. We do not just teach the game; we enforce a strict routine of endurance, rope climbing, and defensive chain drills that prepare you for district and state-level competition.
Training on Red Soil
We stick to traditional red soil (mitti) grounds because it builds the endurance and grip strength that modern synthetic mats often do not provide. Our evening sessions, from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, are split into structured drills. We focus on 'Dubki', 'Toe Touch', and defensive formations like chain tackles.
The Vijay Club Regiment
Our coaching is not for those looking for a light workout. You train alongside veterans and national-level players. If you are in our Youth Foundation program, you get exposure to district selection trials. For our Elite squad, we focus on high-intensity sparring and recruitment-focused conditioning.
