Award-Winning Kabaddi Players at Vijay Club
At Vijay Club, medals are a side effect of our discipline. We are proud of our athletes who consistently dominate at the district and state level, bringing home titles as Best Raider, Defender, and Player of the Tournament.

About Our Star Players: Individual Honors
The 'Best Player' trophies you see in our gallery are not just about raw talent. They are the result of the specific, high-intensity drills we run every day from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM at Shivaji Park. Whether it is our raiders perfecting their Dubki and Toe Touch or our defenders mastering Chain Tackles, these accolades are earned on our traditional red soil ground through year-round consistency.
For us, the trophies on our shelf are proof of our training system. We treat every practice session like match day because that is the only way to build champions.
What makes our players stand out?
- Technical Precision: We do not just teach the basic rules. We drill specific skills. Our raiders master the Dubki and Toe Touch, while our defenders work on advanced Chain Tackles and Thigh Holds.
- The Red Soil Advantage: We train on traditional red soil (mitti). It builds a level of grip, endurance, and mental toughness that you simply do not get on synthetic mats.
- The Vijay Club Mindset: Discipline is non-negotiable. If you are part of our squad, you are here to compete at the highest level, be it the Mayor’s Cup or local Mumbai city championships.
A Pathway to Career Growth
We do not just build athletes; we build careers. Many of our award-winners have used their performance records to gain recruitment opportunities in the Railways, Banks, and Income Tax departments.
If you are looking to take your Kabaddi seriously and want to learn from veterans who have been here since 1949, come to Shivaji Park. We are here to train the next generation of best players.
