About Our Fabric Library
We insist on a two-stage fabric test for every client. Before we cut any material, we check its weight and weave against your skin to see how it handles movement. This ensures the suit you choose will not just look good on the rack, but will retain its shape after hours of wear in Mumbai's humidity.
A great garment starts with the raw material. In our library, we bring together a selection that balances luxury with the practical needs of our local climate. We work with mills like John Cavendish and Giorgio Ferrantino to source wools and blends that offer a natural drape.
Understanding Texture and Weight
Whether you are planning a winter wedding or a summer party, fabric choice is critical. Heavy Italian wools are ideal for structured winter suits, providing a crisp, formal look. Our Process
We invite you to our studios in Girgaon, Matunga, or Ghatkopar to feel the fabric in person. Seeing a swatch is different from seeing a finished piece. During your visit, we can lay the fabric against your skin to test color pairing and verify how the drape suits your frame. We provide options ranging from deep plum checks to classic charcoal solids, all held to our strict construction standards. My brother Akash and I have run this studio since 1983, and we still handle the fabric selection ourselves. We believe that your garment is only as good as the textile it is made from, so we stock everything from Italian wool to breathable cotton blends.
