About Show Jumping Excellence
Our show jumping program goes beyond basic riding exercises. We use specific gridwork and technical course layouts in our flood-lit sand arenas to build your horse's confidence and your own rhythm, helping you move from foundational pole work to clearing 1m+ heights safely and consistently.
At Verdinand Equestrian Academy (VEA), we believe show jumping is about the partnership between rider and horse. We do not just teach you how to jump; we focus on the approach, the landing, and the recovery.
Our Training Environment
Located in Bijwasan, our facilities are designed for performance. We maintain large, flood-lit sand arenas that allow for training during cooler evening hours, essential for keeping both horse and rider focused in Delhi's climate. Our schoolmaster horses are chosen for their temperament—they are steady enough to tolerate beginner mistakes but athletic enough to challenge advanced riders.
The Progression
We believe in a clear pathway for our riders. For beginners, we start with flatwork and introductory pole work to establish core balance. As you progress into our Advanced Competitive Sport package, we introduce technical gridwork and cross-country obstacles. Our focus here is on:
- Precision: Developing the correct eye for strides.
- Confidence: Using varied obstacles to prepare for show environments.
- Strategy: Understanding course walking and competition rules.
