About Thrills of Eventing & Cross-Country
Our cross-country field is built for progress, not just thrill. We have permanent log piles, technical water jumps, and varied banks on grass designed to teach you how to read terrain and maintain rhythm. You aren't just jumping here; you are learning how to handle obstacles that require real trust between horse and rider, which is the foundation of competitive eventing.
Eventing is often called the equestrian triathlon, and at Verdinand Equestrian Academy, we make sure you are prepared for every phase. Our training takes place in our dedicated facility in Bijwasan, where we move beyond flatwork to the technical demands of cross-country and show jumping.
Mastering the Three Phases
We break down the sport into its core components:
- Dressage: Building the deep connection and precision required to perform at the FEI World Dressage Challenge and beyond.
- Cross-Country: The heart of our training. We use real logs, water jumps, and varying banks to teach safety and speed. Whether you are tackling your first Intro FEI event or prepping for national heights, our coaches guide you through every line.
- Show Jumping: Our flood-lit sand arenas allow for technical gridwork and course-walking practice, ensuring you are sharp for the final phase of any competition.
The VEA Approach
We don't believe in quick fixes. Our coaching team, led by Dushyant Nagar, Captain Sunil Kumar, and Rajaram Dhewa, focuses on the long-term partnership between rider and horse. We have schoolmasters who tolerate beginner mistakes, and high-grade Warmbloods for those pushing for 1m+ competition heights.
From riders who were once scared to canter to students grabbing medals at national championships, our path is clear. We provide the mentorship, the premium gear, and the simulation of show environments so that when you enter the arena, you are ready to perform. Baaki mehnat par hai (the rest is on your hard work).
