About Behind the Art: The Mehendi Process
I prepare my henna paste 24 to 48 hours before your event to ensure it releases the deepest, richest color possible. It is not just about the design itself, but about making sure that beautiful, dark stain lasts through all your wedding festivities.
I do not use store-bought cones. My paste is made from triple-sifted Sojat henna, essential oils like eucalyptus or clove, and a touch of lemon sugar. I mix it fresh for every single booking because that is the only way to guarantee a real, deep stain.
When I arrive at your home in Bangalore, I make sure you are comfortable. I know sitting for long hours is not everyone's favorite part of wedding prep, so I try to keep the mood light and easy. Whether we are doing a detailed bridal sleeve or a light mandala, I take my time with every single line.
I love incorporating little things that make your mehendi truly yours. Maybe a Ganesha motif, a temple gopuram, or your wedding date hidden near your wrist. It is a quiet, creative time for both of us while the design comes together. If you are curious about how I handle specific motifs or want to discuss a customized design plan, just drop me a message and we can chat about your vision. ❤️
