Styling Ethnic & Ceremonial Wear for Campaigns
Traditional Indian attire requires more than just a good fit; it demands respect for fabric and movement. Whether it is regal groomswear or a modern saree, I style each piece to tell a compelling, timeless story.
This campaign shot required a regal and traditional aesthetic. I styled the model in an ornate, custom-designed sherwani, creating a powerful image of heritage and majesty that complements the magnificent elephant.
For the 'Taraana' campaign, I styled the musician models in exquisite embroidered lehengas. The deep, rich colors and intricate floral patterns of the outfits create a look of timeless elegance and artistry.
A campaign for Vega Sri Gold and Diamonds where the jewelry is the star. I paired a stunning diamond and ruby necklace with a simple, elegant saree in a matching color palette to ensure the focus remains on the exquisite craftsmanship.
This campaign video for Jade Blue Lifestyle demonstrates my versatility in motion. I styled a range of looks, from elegant all-white traditional wear for a grand entrance to modern pastel ethnic jackets and sharp business suits.
Styling for the Navyasa by Liva campaign featuring Deepika Padukone. The main model's flowing, modern saree is contrasted with the sharp, dark outfits of the background models to create a dynamic and glamorous entrance.
About Ethnic & Ceremonial Wear
Styling ethnic wear isn't just about putting clothes on a model. It is about managing volume and pleats, ensuring the drape moves naturally on camera, and balancing traditional opulence with modern camera angles, especially when shooting motion-heavy campaigns like my work for Jade Blue.
When I step on set for a ceremonial shoot, my focus shifts to the technical reality of the garment. Fabrics like heavy silks, intricate embroidery, and layered lehengas demand a specific approach to handling. In my work for brands like Taraana, the goal is to make the outfit look effortless even while it is pinned and clamped for the perfect shot.
I pay close attention to continuity, especially in video production where every movement changes how a garment sits. For my work with Navyasa by Liva, balancing the traditional elegance of the saree with the need for modern, dynamic visuals required precise styling, ensuring the fabric flowed beautifully with every step the model took.
Whether you are looking for regal groomswear styling, bridal jewelry pairing, or contemporary ethnic fashion for a lookbook, my process remains the same. I start with the narrative and work backwards to ensure the clothing supports the story. From industrial steaming to on-set continuity logging, I handle the technical backend so you can focus on the final visual impact. Every piece has a heritage, and my role is to translate that legacy into a compelling image.
