About Portraits & Projects
You will notice a recurring theme in these photos: community. Whether it is the styling team behind my Grammy nomination outfit or the women who came together for the 'RaagRaanis' EP, my best music happens when we prioritize real connection over rigid corporate structures. If you are looking to collaborate, know that I prefer working with people who bring as much heart to the project as they do technical skill, and I am always happy to talk about the messy, joyful process behind the finished track.
My studio is not just a room with gear. I call it a creative jaathre, a festival where the best ideas often happen when we are just hanging out, laughing, or grabbing a chili bajji. This cluster showcases that energy.
Why Visuals Matter in Music
In an age where music is often just a digital file, these portraits serve as a reminder of the human element. From the 'VARI' album journey that took me from Bangalore to Spain, to remote collaborations with global artists, every project is a story. These visuals document the vocal layers, the flute improvisations, and the arrangement choices that define my signature blend of Carnatic fusion.
My Collaborative Approach
When you see me in these sessions—whether I am recording a vocal stem for a producer in another country or co-writing in my Bengaluru studio—you are seeing a process defined by openness. I do not believe in rigid rules. If we are working together, we will iterate, layer, and find that emotional punch. I provide:
- Remote Features: High-quality vocal or flute stems delivered to your backing track.
- In-Person Co-Writing: Intensive blocks in Bengaluru where we can jam, arrange, and record in real-time.
- Full Production: End-to-end management where I bring in my network of session musicians to complete the ensemble.
The 'RaagRaanis' & Global Projects
Projects like 'RaagRaanis' highlight my commitment to all-women features and unique vocal formatting. Similarly, my work with the EYM Trio or on 'DREAM' with animated video integration shows my willingness to push creative boundaries. Whether you need a specific Carnatic vocal texture, complex odd-time rhythmic patterns, or a full-band arrangement, these projects reflect the versatility I bring to every collaboration. Let us make something real.
