Intricate Floral Rangoli and Decoration Details

Beautiful events are made of small, careful details. See how I use fresh petals and natural elements to create traditional floor art and floral accents that welcome your guests.

I love creating these intricate floor rangolis using fresh flower petals. This is a time-consuming process, but it adds a beautiful and traditional welcome for guests at the entrance of any event.

About this collection

These floral rangolis are not just decorations. I sit on the floor and hand-place every single petal to build these patterns. It is a slow, quiet process that I usually do the night before your event, ensuring the marigolds and jasmine stay vibrant and fresh for when your guests arrive the next morning.

When you look closely at these photos, you are seeing hours of manual work. Unlike artificial decor that is reused, my floral rangolis are made from fresh market flowers like bright orange marigolds, yellow chrysanthemums, and white tuberoses. I believe this fresh approach brings a traditional, authentic warmth to your home that no plastic print can match.

Why Fresh Flowers Matter

Every venue has a different layout, and every floor surface behaves differently. I work with the specific space I have, whether it is a small entryway for a naming ceremony or a large stage for a wedding. Because these arrangements are created from real produce, they have a limited life. I prepare them as close to your event time as possible so they look their best for you and your guests.

The Process

  1. Design Planning: We discuss your color theme first. If you have specific wedding or function colors, I match the petal shades to that palette.
  2. Preparation: I bring high-density flower garlands and loose petals. I do not use pre-made stencils; I draw the patterns by hand on the floor.
  3. Execution: I spend time layering the colors to create depth. This is where my 'nidde illade iro ratrigalu' (sleepless nights) approach comes in. I often work late to ensure the petals are set before the morning functions start.

If you have a specific pattern in mind, or if you have a traditional design from your family that you want to recreate, let me know. I enjoy the challenge of working with new patterns and making them fit your space perfectly.

I am Akshay. I believe the beauty of an event is in the small things, like the way a hand-placed floral rangoli welcomes your guests or how fresh jasmine accents make a room feel festive. I do not just set up props; I take the time to hand-place petals and ensure every corner feels warm and authentic.
