About Handmade Festive Accessories
Why I Started Making Festive Accessories
Most know me for bridal mehendi, but I’m always itching to do more with my hands. Crafting is my thing - I’m mehanti (hardworking), and I wanted to bring that same detail to accessories for the festive season. Everything I make is by me, no shortcuts.
What’s In My Festive Collection
- Big, bold Kutchi embroidered hair accessories to jazz up your hairstyle. These bows and braids come with mirror work, shells, and those long tails that swing when you dance.
- Fabric chokers with traditional mirror work - sit comfy on your neck and instantly lift any ethnic outfit.
- My top pick: handmade Navratri waist belt (kamarband). It’s loaded with embroidery and color, plus a matching pouch for your phone and cash. So you can dance without worrying about your stuff.
The Whole Vibe
Think Gujarati-Kutchi style - lots of mirrors, shells, bright threads. These pieces are ekdam perfect for Garba, Dandiya, mehendi, sangeet, college fests, or whenever you want to go full traditional.
Why Handmade?
No two pieces look exactly the same. Little differences happen, but that’s what makes it special. You get something one-of-a-kind, made with care.

My Story
Hi, I’m Urmila from Palghar. Mehendi for me is like sharing people’s happy moments, from behen ki shadi (sister’s wedding) to a bride’s big day. I love teaching too – students often say ‘mujhse toh nahi ho payega’ (I can’t do this), but I always tell them ‘tujhyakadan hoil’ (you’ll get there). Watching them finish the course and get their certificate feels amazing. Now, with my 25-member team, we’re all set to make your mehendi ceremony special.
