It starts with a deep clean and deglazing of the leather, followed by multiple, thin layers of paint. For detailed portraits, I apply 5-7 layers to achieve full opacity without building up thick, rubbery texture on the surface.
I treat each shoe as a canvas. If you want a face-off design, like the Demon Slayer customs I have done, we can split the narrative across both shoes. This storytelling approach makes the sneakers a conversation starter. After the painting is done, I seal everything with an industrial-grade, scratch-resistant top coat.
