From Vision to Reality: Our Design Process
Every great landscape begins as a sketch. We map your site’s potential, turning abstract concepts into detailed construction plans and vibrant realities.
The journey of every great landscape begins with a sketch. Here, we map out concepts for circulation, amenities, and planting zones on tracing paper, laying the foundation for the design.
This composite image shows the transition from a 2D technical plan to a 3D visualization of the Serene Exotica clubhouse area, illustrating how we translate drawings into a tangible vision.
A comparison of the 3D render and the initial construction phase at Serene Exotica, showing the bare ground and foundational work that precedes the final lush landscape.
This video shows the steel frame of a pergola under construction, directly corresponding to the rendered image of the final vine-covered walkway.
From a detailed 3D render of a luxurious poolside to the reality of the empty pool basin and structural frames, this shows the transformation from concept to construction.
The intricate terracotta jali wall, first visualized in a render, is shown here being installed on site, demonstrating our commitment to material and detail.
A side-by-side of the rendered yoga deck and the on-site construction of its concrete base, showing how the circular form and stepped levels are brought to life.
Our architects on-site, reviewing blueprints and verifying the layout for a new sports complex, ensuring that the execution aligns perfectly with the design plans.
The initial ground marking for a sports court at a school in Sarjapura, the very first step in transforming an empty field into a functional athletic facility.

About From Vision to Reality: Our Design Process
We do not hand over a concept and walk away. Our process ties the vision directly to the ground level by creating precise GFC (Good for Construction) drawings for your contractors. This technical foundation ensures the geometry of every pergola, the slope of every pathway, and the layout of every planter is built exactly as intended.
Landscape design often fails at the transition from paper to soil. To prevent this, our studio works through a structured, three-phase methodology that ensures design integrity is maintained throughout the construction timeline.
Phase 1: Concept & Master Layout
We begin by analyzing the site context—soil, terrain, and climate. We build the narrative here, creating thematic designs and 3D visualizations that set the visual direction. This is where we determine the 'landscape system,' defining how pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles will move through the space.
Phase 2: Technical Documentation (GFCs)
This is where many projects falter. We bridge the gap between imagination and engineering. We provide comprehensive drawings for hardscape (pathways, driveways, kerb stones) and softscape (stratified planting lists including canopy trees and groundcover). We also deliver MEP services layouts, including grading plans for drainage and precise irrigation marker placement. These documents are the blueprint your contractor uses to build.
Phase 3: Execution Support
Design intent is fragile until it is built. We remain involved during the construction phase, making periodic site visits to verify setting out markings and material installation. Whether it is an intricate terracotta jali wall or a complex podium waterproofing detail, we are there to ensure the final result matches the 3D render.
By keeping our team involved from the first sketch to the final plant installation, we create spaces that do not just look good on day one, but remain functional and sustainable for years to come.
