About Online Reading & English Programs
Before we start, I do a quick pre-reading assessment to see exactly where your child is comfortable. This way, whether they are joining the Little Reader's Guild or a Creative English workshop, I can place them in a group where they feel challenged but not overwhelmed—meaning they build confidence from day one, not frustration.
How My Online Programs Work
I believe learning shouldn't feel like another school hour. My programs are designed to spark curiosity through multi-sensory and kinesthetic activities. I keep sessions interactive, using voice modulation to bring stories to life and games to make vocabulary building stick.
The Little Reader's Guild
This is my cornerstone program for early literacy. We break kids into age-appropriate groups—3 to 5 years, 6 to 8 years, and 8 to 10 years—to ensure the difficulty level is just right.
- For the little ones (3-5 years): These are bonding sessions where parents participate. It is a 30-minute window for shared focus and gentle exposure to new sounds.
- For older readers (6-10 years): These sessions move toward independent reading, character comprehension, and building phonemic awareness.
Creative English & Vocabulary Workshops
If your child thinks English is just about memorizing spelling, these workshops will change that. We focus on:
- Decoding & Riddles: Quick-fire challenges that teach critical thinking.
- Word Games: Using Boggle and custom crosswords to expand vocabulary naturally.
- Tongue Twisters: Improving diction and vocal confidence through play.
