Discover how we transformed this quiet apartment into a sun-drenched, serene home using organic textures and a soft, neutral palette.

The 'Calm Abode' lives up to its name with this sunlit living room corner. We used a neutral L-shaped sofa and layered textiles to create a space filled with romantic serenity, perfect for a quiet afternoon.

The full living room of 'Calm Abode' showcases a harmonious blend of comfort and style. A plush beige sofa, a traditional Indian swing, and nested marble coffee tables create a space that is perfect for family life.

The dining area flows seamlessly from the living room. We introduced a pop of color with these rich, burnt-orange velvet chairs, which add warmth and personality to the neutral space. The pendant lights add a touch of modern glamour.

About Project Showcase: Calm Abode

In the Calm Abode project, we balanced the raw, rugged stone wall behind the sofa with soft stucco paint and velvet textiles. This contrast between the cold, textured stone and the warm, plush fabrics grounds the space, preventing the minimalist, clean-lined design from feeling sterile. We focus on these tactile details to ensure your home feels inviting, not just showroom-perfect.

Located in a quiet lane in Andheri, this home was designed to be a peaceful escape from the bustle of Mumbai. When working on this residence, our goal was to maintain a serene atmosphere using a palette of onyx white, cream, and warm wood tones.

One of the most important aspects of this home is how the floor plan flows. By using consistent onyx white flooring throughout the living and dining areas, we created a sense of visual continuity that makes the apartment feel larger and more open. We added depth to the living area by using a rugged grey stone wall, which serves as a grounding focal point against the softness of the stucco-finished walls.

The dining area serves as a vibrant transition. We selected rich, burnt-orange velvet chairs to introduce warmth and personality to the neutral room, while pendant lights draw the eye upward, adding a layer of modern luxury. Every piece of furniture was custom-designed or selected to fit the scale of the room, ensuring that even with a minimalist approach, the house feels full and lived-in.

If you are looking to transform your space, we typically begin with an initial consultation to understand your daily rhythm. Whether you are aiming for a soft, contemporary vibe or a blend of traditional and modern, we manage the technical drawings, material selection, and site supervision to ensure the final result matches the initial vision. We are based in Mumbai and work across the metropolitan area, helping families turn their houses into homes that truly reflect their personality.
