From the lions of Gir to the urban wetlands of Navi Mumbai, these frames are my personal highlights. This collection captures the patience and persistence required to document India’s diverse wildlife.

A young Asiatic lioness from the pride, resting in the golden morning light of Gir National Park. They weren’t hunting or moving, just existing, and in that stillness, I felt the immense power and presence of these magnificent animals.

A flamingo rises above the flock, its wings spread wide against the lush backdrop of Navi Mumbai's wetlands. This shot is a celebration of life and a call to action to protect these vital urban habitats that are under constant threat.

This video captures the essence of a safari in Gir National Park. From the anticipation of driving down a forest road to the incredible sight of a lioness and her playful cubs, this is the experience that awaits you in the last home of the Asiatic Lion.

The vibrant fan-throated lizard puts on a spectacular display in the scrublands of Maharashtra. Capturing this burst of color requires patience and an understanding of animal behavior, skills I share on my specialized expeditions.

A Tawny Eagle soars effortlessly over the green fields of Jaisalmer. Capturing birds in flight is a technical challenge that requires quick thinking and a deep connection with your gear, freezing a perfect moment of wild freedom.

This is what a 7 AM start looks like on one of my Navi Mumbai photo walks. It’s about more than just photography; it’s about witnessing the world wake up, from the golden light on the water to the birds beginning their day.

In the hazy, challenging light of Navi Mumbai, I waited for hours to capture this single black-winged stilt. This minimalist silhouette shows how we can create art by embracing imperfections and finding beauty in simplicity.

A macro shot revealing the incredible detail of a gecko's eye and skin in the Thar Desert. My macro workshops focus on uncovering these tiny, hidden worlds and telling their fascinating stories through the lens.

About Featured

My expeditions are not about fast clicks. They are about understanding the rhythm of a habitat. Whether we are waiting for a pride of lions to move in Gir or tracking flamingos in Navi Mumbai, my focus is on fieldcraft. You will learn to use light, anticipate behavior, and tell a story, even if you are just starting out with a basic mirrorless camera.

Photography is my therapy and my escape from the daily grind. This featured collection spans the diverse environments I explore, from the arid desert of Jaisalmer to the misty biodiversity hotspots of the Western Ghats.

My Approach to Wildlife Photography

I believe you do not need the most expensive gear to get a great shot. My workshops focus on the basics that actually matter: reading animal behavior, understanding golden hour light, and mastering manual settings.

  • Birding & Urban Wildlife: In places like Navi Mumbai, we focus on patience. Capturing a kingfisher or a flamingo in flight requires knowing the bird's path and waiting for the right moment.
  • Macro & Miniature Worlds: My macro sessions, often held in the Western Ghats, teach you how to use flash and diffusers to reveal details in reptiles and insects that the naked eye often misses.
  • Big Cat Safaris: In Gir, the focus shifts to ethical observation. We prioritize finding the Asiatic Lion while ensuring we respect their space and territory. It is about witnessing the king in his home, not just grabbing a frame.

Conservation Through the Lens

I use my camera as a voice for habitats under threat. Every expedition I lead includes discussions on field ethics. When you join me, you are not just learning photography, you are learning to advocate for the wild spaces that make these photos possible. Whether you are a beginner looking to move from Auto to Manual, or an enthusiast wanting to refine your composition skills, there is a space for you in my next outing.

I am just a guy with a regular job and a camera, fuelled by the silence of the wild. When I am not working, I am either crawling in the mud for a shot or leading small groups to places where the WiFi dies and nature takes over.
