Mini-Tennis Coaching for Kids in Mumbai
Our Play and Stay program is all about giving your little one a solid start. We mix fun drills with the right basics so they learn to love the game from their very first swing.
It all starts here. A young player in our Mini-Tennis program learns the fundamentals of a forehand, focusing on making clean contact with the ball. We make learning fun and effective from the very first swing.
Ready to play! Our youngest students bring so much energy to the court. We focus on creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere where kids can fall in love with tennis.
It's not just about drills; it's about the "masti". We use fun, engaging games like this one to develop reflexes, agility, and a love for the game in our youngest players at the Bandra YMCA.
This fun catching drill is excellent for developing hand-eye coordination and tracking skills in our mini-tennis group. The kids love the challenge of trying to catch as many balls as they can.
Building a strong foundation for serving starts with the right throwing motion. Here, our junior players at Bandra YMCA practice their aim and technique in a fun, target-based game.
A coach provides encouragement as a young student makes contact with the ball. Our hands-on approach ensures every child gets the attention they need to develop proper tennis technique from an early age.
Practice makes perfect. This young player is working on his swing path and balance during a mini-tennis session, a key part of our junior tennis development program.
About this collection
We do not expect kids to hold a full-sized racquet or reach high nets. For this age group, we swap standard gear for smaller, lighter racquets and low-compression balls, so their technique develops naturally without strain. This lets them focus on hand-eye coordination, balance, and the joy of the game rather than complex mechanics.
Building a Love for Tennis
At Trinity Tennis Academy, we believe the first interaction with a sport defines whether a child stays with it. Our Mini-Tennis program for ages 3 to 7 is designed specifically to keep energy high and frustration low. By using the 'Play and Stay' method, we ensure that children feel successful from their first session.
Why Our Approach Works
- Right Equipment: We use smaller racquets and red or orange low-compression balls that move slower. This allows kids to track the ball better and make clean contact, building confidence quickly.
- Game-Based Drills: Forget boring standing lines. Our sessions in Bandra and Powai are filled with movement games, target practice, and agility ladders that develop reflexes without feeling like a strict class.
- Skill Development: Beyond just hitting a ball, we work on gross motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and spatial awareness—foundational abilities that help in any sport they might pick up later.
Where We Play
We run these sessions across our key Mumbai hubs, including The Bandra Gymkhana, Bombay YMCA, and Emma Sports Academy in Powai. Each venue provides a safe environment for your child to run around and meet new friends while learning the basics of tennis. Our coaches are trained to handle group dynamics, ensuring that every child gets individual attention even in a group setting.
Getting Started
We offer quarterly programs that provide a structured 12-week roadmap. There are no trials or one-off classes, as we believe consistency is key to helping your child settle in and start enjoying their time on the court. If you are ready to see your child get active, pick up a new skill, and have a lot of fun, our next batch is waiting.
Trinity Tennis Academy
We are Trinity Tennis Academy, and we believe every child has a champion inside waiting to come out. We do not just teach tennis; we build a space where your child runs, learns, and has a blast on the court every single session.
