About Sweet Dreams & Starry Nights
We keep our Kasturi Nagar studio warm and quiet throughout the session to mimic a womb-like environment. This helps your baby stay settled and sleepy, allowing us to capture those calm, posed portraits safely without rushing or causing stress.
Our Approach to Newborn Photography
Our 'Sweet Dreams' gallery showcases the results of a controlled, baby-led studio environment. Because we focus on photography for newborns, we prioritise safety and comfort above all else. Every wrap, prop, and backdrop we use is selected for softness and cleanliness.
What Happens During a Session
- Baby-Led Posing: We do not force positions. If your baby is awake and alert, we capture those shots; if they are sleepy, we move to the curled, peaceful poses shown in this gallery.
- Studio Environment: The studio is climate-controlled and kept quiet to ensure your baby remains relaxed throughout the 2.5 to 4.5-hour session duration, depending on the package you choose.
- Styling: We provide all the props, including tiny beds, baskets, wool wraps, and starry backdrops. You do not need to bring extra clothing or accessories.
Choosing Your Package
We offer three distinct session tiers depending on what you need:
- Basic Wrapped Session: Focused entirely on the baby. This includes two setups (bean bag and one prop) with 8 to 10 professionally retouched images.
- Creative Themes & Family: Includes three setups, parent portraits, and specific creative themes like fantasy or seasonal concepts, providing 15 retouched images.
- Premium Twin or Extensive Session: Designed for twins or single babies needing maximum variety. This covers four setups, sibling portraits, and includes a print product like a hardcover photobook or canvas frame.
All sessions are held at our Kasturi Nagar studio. We recommend booking at least two weeks before your due date to ensure availability.
