I structure every first birthday session in three distinct stages: formal portraits in your chosen outfit, the messy cake smash, and a bubble bath cleanup. This flow keeps the baby happy and ensures we capture both those timeless smiling shots and the candid, cake-covered giggles without any rushing.
Planning a first birthday involves a lot of moving parts, but the photography does not have to be one of them. In my Annapurneshwari Nagar studio, I take care of the entire setup so you can focus on your child. We start with formal, clean portraits before the cake appears. This ensures we get those classic, smiling photos while everyone is fresh and happy.
Then comes the main event. Whether you prefer a soft teddy bear theme, a vibrant rainbow backdrop, or a modern minimalist look, I have the props and outfits ready. I encourage you to bring the cake yourself, mainly to ensure it fits any dietary preferences or allergies your little one might have. After the sugar rush and the inevitable mess, we wrap up with a bubble bath session. It is a great way to get those cute, clean-up photos while giving the baby a chance to play in the water.
I generally recommend booking a few weeks in advance, especially if you have a specific weekend date in mind.
