Being a coach isn't just about teaching kicks. It is a constant process of upgrading my skills, refereeing at tournaments, and staying connected to the roots of the sport.

About My Credentials & Coaching Journey

When I referee at state-level championships, I see students lose medals not because they lack skill, but because they do not understand the rules. My training is built on this insight. By staying active in national referee seminars and training with masters, I teach you exactly what judges look for. You will learn to control your 'gamjum' (penalties) and maximize your scoring potential, ensuring you compete with a tactical advantage, not just physical strength.

Taekwondo is a technical art. If you rely only on power, you will burn out. True mastery comes from understanding the logic behind every movement, block, and strike. My journey from a practitioner to a certified National Referee has been about one thing: learning how to read the game.

I frequently travel to attend seminars, such as those at the Korean Cultural Centre India, to update my methods based on the latest World Taekwondo guidelines. When you join classes at Tiger Taekwondo Academy in Janakpuri, you are getting more than just basic self-defence. You are getting a curriculum that includes Kyorugi (sparring) strategies, proper use of protective gear, and the mental discipline required to excel in tournaments.

Whether you are aiming for a black belt, looking for fitness, or preparing for selection trials like the Chuncheon World Cup, the training is rigorous. We follow a strict 'Dojang' (training hall) etiquette because discipline is the foundation of every great martial artist. Expect to sweat, expect to learn the Korean terminology, and expect to be challenged. If you are ready for the hard work, I am here to guide you.
