Don't let your family’s history stay locked in a drawer. I help you reimagine old gold coins, pendants, and traditional pieces into versatile, wearable jewellery that fits your modern style while keeping the memories alive.

This is what I love to do most: give cherished pieces a second life. A client brought me her classic diamond necklace, and together we reimagined it as this striking green hasli, using her original diamonds and adding a beautiful solitaire to create a modern heirloom she can wear with anything.

This is for the moments that demand pure grandeur. I designed this regal, multi-layered diamond necklace with a magnificent pink tourmaline as the centerpiece. It’s a true statement of bridal elegance and heritage craftsmanship.

So many of us have old gold coins, or *ginnis*, tucked away in our lockers. I believe they are stories waiting to be worn. Here, I show you how I transformed a client's heirloom coins into a stunning, contemporary necklace set with diamonds, polki, and green meenakari.

The beauty of a heritage piece lies in its details. This traditional polki necklace, with its intricate floral medallion and strings of pearls, is a perfect example of timeless design. It’s crafted to be an evergreen treasure for a bridal trousseau.

Bringing your dream jewellery to life is a journey we take together. This video gives you a peek into my bespoke design process, from the initial concept and rough sketches to a final colored render and the beautifully finished piece.

A ring can be a quiet statement of personal style. I designed this piece to feel both bold and natural, with a vibrant emerald at its heart, surrounded by a spray of marquise diamonds that feel like unfolding leaves.

Jai Shri Krishna. Every piece of old jewellery has a memory we want to preserve. For this client, I took an old kairi pendant and transformed it into a beautiful choker, adding carved emeralds, peacock motifs, and traditional moti piroi for a completely new look.

For me, being a family jeweller is the greatest honour. Hearing from clients who have trusted me for over a decade is what makes my work so meaningful. It’s about building relationships and being part of your family's special moments.

About Featured

When you bring your old jewellery to my Malad studio, we start with a clear assessment of your gold weight and purity. I do not just melt it down; I work with you to understand which elements, such as original antique settings or specific stones, can be preserved or updated into your new design, ensuring the emotional value of the piece remains intact alongside its new aesthetic.

Your Jewellery's Second Life

The journey of transforming an heirloom piece is as meaningful as the jewellery itself. Whether it’s your dadi’s heavy hasli or a collection of gold ginnis sitting idle, my goal is to make these treasures wearable for today.

The Process:

  1. Consultation: We sit down at my Malad West studio to discuss what you want. We assess your existing gold, test it for purity, and identify stones that can be reused.
  2. Design & Visualization: I sketch the initial ideas and create detailed 2D coloured renderings. You will see exactly how the final piece will look before we touch a single tool.
  3. Craftsmanship: Whether we are adding 18kt or 22kt gold, incorporating fresh Polki, or using moti piroi (pearl stringing) for a classic touch, my team executes the design with precision.

Why Redesign?

Beyond the obvious financial benefit of using your own gold, there is the emotional weight of a piece that has seen generations. By retaining original motifs or stones, we are not just creating a new accessory; we are preserving a family legacy. Many clients come to me with traditional sets they no longer wear, only to walk away with sleek, contemporary chokers or fusion pieces that fit perfectly into a modern bridal trousseau or festive wardrobe.

I work with 14kt, 18kt, and 22kt gold, and can incorporate diamonds, emeralds, and rubies to add depth to the design. If you have an idea, let’s talk.
