About Intimate & Moody Portraits

Many people worry that they aren't 'models' and will feel awkward, but that is where I come in. For these intimate sessions, I do not use heavy artificial lighting setups that make you feel like you are under a microscope. Instead, I rely on soft window light and natural shadows to find angles that look like you, just with a more dramatic, cinematic finish. You do not need a studio for this vibe; your own living room or a quiet outdoor corner often works best for creating a comfortable, authentic atmosphere.
