About Intimate & Moody Portraits
You don't need to be a model to step into this light. My approach to these intimate portraits is about creating a safe, comfortable space where we use deep shadows and colored gels to strip away the performance, leaving only your natural confidence in the frame.
Photography is often seen as a performance, but for these moody and intimate sessions, I strip that idea away completely. When you walk into my studio or we set up at a location, my goal isn't just to take a pretty picture—it's to capture a version of yourself you haven't seen yet.
We often start with a conversation, not a camera. Whether you're comfortable in front of the lens or the thought makes you freeze, I use specific lighting techniques—like low-key shadows, red or blue gels, and soft highlights—to create an atmosphere where you don't feel watched. It’s about the play of light kissing your skin, the texture of the fabric, and the emotion in your expression.
I work with clients across Delhi NCR for these sessions. Some want a classic aesthetic, others want something more abstract and artistic, like a silhouette or a cinematic portrait. We decide on the vibe together, whether that's dark and mysterious or soft and contemplative. You don't need prior experience, and you don't need to know how to pose. I guide the movement, the angles, and the mood so you can simply exist in the moment.
