These shoots are a collaboration. Whether we are planning a fusion look or a raw, earthy concept, I work closely with stylists to ensure every frame has intention. If you have a mood board or just a raw idea, we start by coordinating the styling and location to match your specific vision before we ever pick up the camera.
Turning Concepts Into Reality
Conceptual photography is where I push creative boundaries. It is not about standard posing; it is about storytelling through the environment, wardrobe, and lighting.
My Process
When you book a conceptual shoot, we move beyond routine portraiture.
- Pre-Production: We define the vibe first. Are we going for something moody and intense, or light and playful? I collaborate with professional stylists and makeup artists to ensure the wardrobe and look align perfectly with the chosen aesthetic.
- Location Scouting: I shoot everywhere from the streets of Bangalore to the paddy fields of Kerala. If your concept requires a specific landscape, we secure the right backdrop before the shoot.
- Direction: If you are not a professional model, do not worry. I provide hands-on direction to help you find the expressions and angles that make the frame work.
Editorial and Fashion Focus
Many of these shots are inspired by editorial fashion standards. We focus on textures—like the mud in my paddy field series—and unique garment styling, such as the fusion western-lungi look. This style is ideal if you are a brand looking for a lookbook, or an individual wanting a high-fashion portfolio that stands out from typical social media content.
